Remote computer chess analysis made easy
How Chessific works
-
Chessific connects you to a remote server running Universal Chess Interface (UCI) compliant chess engines (like Firebird, Stockfish, Rybka). These engines work with UCI compliant user interfaces like Chessbase.
-
When launched, Chessific communicates with the remote server over the Internet where the analysis of the current position on the board is performed by the engine selected by you. Results of the analysis are displayed in real time same as if you were analyzing using your own system.
-
Chessific, however, does not use your system's processors for any analysis and they can be used for other work. Which means that your laptop/ desktop processing power has no bearing on quality of analysis - you get the same level of analysis irrespective of what system you use to connect to the server.
-
Since all communication happens with remote servers which are on the Internet you do need to have a reasonable Internet connection.
-
All communication over the Internet is encrypted to ensure complete security.
